MP3 Player Headsets Be Careful

Parents looking for MP3 player headsets for their children should be careful what they buy. Studies show that the in-ear headsets are far more damaging to your hearing then the out-of-ear/muff style of headsets.

With younger children now using MP3 players the headsets become far more important. Think about it, if in-ear headsets are for your ears/hearing, then how bad are they for young still developing ears. I know the iPods are sold with the in-ear style headsets and of course corporations would never provide something that may hurt you child (i.e. led from China), but you should throw out those headsets and require your child to use the out-of-ear/muff style. Remember you never get your hearing back and I would hate to see a whole generation of hard-of-hearing kids.
